Wander Jacket (Lined) / Washed Indigo Denim

Battenwear has always prioritized balance in the items we make: balance between outdoor & city, functional & stylish, retro & contemporary, deliberate & casual . . . In this case, we set out to make a grown-up, everyday jacket for wandering about town (i.e. an item conservative enough to be worn through a wide variety of situations) that didn’t look either orthodox or boring. It was a tricky line to walk in design, and we really enjoyed it. Some of our favorite details include the cross-collar button flap, the chest pocket for easy access to glasses/phone/grocery list, and the angle-entry button flap hand pockets.

This season, we've made a fall/winter version of the jacket by adding a soft and cozy flannel lining.
