For those who never let a little weather get in the way of adventure, the Scout Anorak is your go-to. Whether hiking, fishing, hunting, or just stirring things up around the campsite, this anorak is built for movement, comfort, and function.

First released in 2014, the Scout Anorak quickly became a Battenwear standard, embodying our mission to design functional outdoor and sports gear that’s rugged, practical, and equally at home in the city.

With multiple storage pockets up front and extra-deep double side zippers for easy entry and ventilation, this piece is designed for real-world utility.

Keep in mind, it’s intentionally roomy, meant to be worn as your outermost layer.

Fabric Notes

We’re big fans of using military-grade fabrics because they’re time-tested for durability in tough outdoor conditions. This 50/50 NYCO Military Back Sateen, milled in Japan, offers a perfect blend of ruggedness and refinement.

• Hood with structured brim
• Elastic cords with plastic stoppers for adjustable hood and waist
• Front kangaroo pocket with snap-button closure and small interior zip pocket for valuables
• Fleece/shearling-lined side-entry openings behind kangaroo pocket for hand-warming comfort
• Extra-deep two-way zipper on right side for easy on/off and ventilation
• Short armpit zipper on left side for additional airflow
• Zip double-entry “game pocket” on back for extra storage
