Whenever we think of Ralph Lauren, we think about the cover to an old Free & Easy Magazine calling him the "Last American Hero" It's such a bold (and sad?) statement, but it's also hard to argue with the american hero part. We're fascinated by him and the company and brand megalith that he built. And what he has done with sub-branding is pure genius.
