At Battenwear’s design studio in Topanga Canyon, CA, winter afternoons are mostly nice and sunny but the mornings and evenings are deeply chilly. The Canyon Shirt Jacket was designed to wear on our morning hiking and surfing trips through Topanga and our evenings late in the studio. Roomy enough to layer over a sweatshirt or fleece, the Canyon has 5 pockets, which gives it a chore jacket kind of vibe, and a relaxed fit that makes it well suited for any number of outdoor or city destinations.

The Canyon Shirt Jacket is an updated version of our longstanding Five Pocket Canyon Shirt, with an overhaul in construction to make it roomier and more accommodating of under-layers. We also updated the collar and sleeves for a more contemporary feel.
