The Battenwear Beach Breaker draws inspiration from the clean, timeless silhouette of vintage college football windbreakers. Designed for adventure, it’s the ideal jacket for early morning trips to the mountains or beach—cozy, weather-resistant, and sharp enough to get you out the door with confidence.

Over the years, we’ve released several versions of the Beach Breaker. This updated edition features a flap chest pocket and comes in a versatile range of rugged fabrics.

Fabric Notes

We chose a 50/50 NYCO military back sateen for this edition—a fabric renowned for its toughness and reliability in heavy outdoor use. Produced in Japan, it’s both rugged and refined, making it perfect for daily wear.
