Walls is an outdoor workwear company out of Texas that has been making tough, practical gear since the late 1930's. When Shinya was in high school in the 1990's and the "Ame-kaji" boom was hitting its stride in Tokyo, he vintage dug for this signature short waisted Walls down jacket lovingly called "Blizzard Pruf." This is not the one he wore in high school but rather another we found later as we were researching our own puffers. The short waist is made for cowboys and equipment drivers--people who have outdoor jobs so that they can keep warm without limiting range of movement.
