Woolrich will always be a special brand to us. Before we started Battenwear, Shinya was assistant designer for the WP Lavori Woolrich Woolen Mills label. That's how he made his transition from vintage expert/sales to designer. Shinya spent a lot of time in Woolrich PA, at the historic Woolrich mills, and learned a lot from the extended Woolrich family. This particular piece represents the strong personal connection people can develop with their winter outdoor gear. We like to imagine the adventures it has been on!
